Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth credit risk assessments for corporate and commercial loan portfolios
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to determine creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk mitigation recommendations
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Monitor existing credit exposures and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance credit underwriting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive credit analysis experience in commercial banking
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VBA preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, credit policies, and banking regulations
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and market conditions
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Credit Risk Management Certification (CRCM) preferred
