Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and credit reports for commercial loan applications
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos with risk assessments and recommendations
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends impacting Hawaii's market
- Present credit recommendations to credit committee members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and credit risk frameworks
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) preferred
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
