Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and collateral to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports with detailed risk assessments and recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure commercial lending solutions
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and economic indicators
- Present credit findings to senior leadership and credit committees
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience with financial institutions
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and credit risk frameworks
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with credit software (e.g., Moody's, Fiserv, or similar)
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings clearly
