Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, cash flows, and credit risks for commercial clients
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for lending committees
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early-warning signs of financial distress
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal banking regulations and internal policies
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
- Lead training initiatives for junior credit analysts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in credit scoring models (FICO, Altman Z-score)
- Expertise in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Solid understanding of OCC/Federal Reserve regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and ERP system experience
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex findings
- Series 7/63 licenses (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
