Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis and risk assessment for commercial loan applications
- Prepare detailed credit reports with actionable recommendations for senior leadership
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with sales teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Develop financial models to forecast repayment capacity and cash flow scenarios
- Present complex financial data clearly through executive summaries and dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit scoring systems
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain within 12 months
- Strong understanding of GAAP and risk management frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
