Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and cash flow projections for commercial and industrial clients
- Prepare comprehensive credit risk assessments and recommend loan structures
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signs of financial distress
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Present credit recommendations to senior leadership with clear justification
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of credit analysis experience in commercial banking or lending
- Proficiency in credit analysis software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, Sageworks)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and commercial lending regulations
- Exceptional financial modeling and spreadsheet skills (Excel advanced functions)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
