Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk mitigation strategies for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with commercial banking teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations (Regulations B, Z, and FFIEC)
- Develop financial models for cash flow projections and debt service coverage analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Credit Analyst Certification (CMA or equivalent) preferred
- Deep understanding of banking regulations and risk assessment frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
