Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to evaluate borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing credit portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and industry experts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or lending
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and ratio analysis
- Proficiency with credit software (e.g., Moody's Analytics) and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of SBA lending programs and Texas commercial lending regulations
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex financial information
