Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for commercial clients
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and market trends
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk evaluation reports
- Collaborate with lending teams on structuring optimal credit solutions
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-exposure accounts
- Maintain compliance with federal banking regulations (FIRREA, BSA)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, LBO, ratio analysis)
- Advanced Excel skills with VBA/macros experience
- CFM or FRM certification preferred
- Deep understanding of SEC filings and GAAP standards
- Proven track record in managing complex credit portfolios
