Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and market trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessments for commercial and corporate clients
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit facilities and mitigate exposure risks
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit policies and compliance
- Present credit recommendations to senior management with clear rationale
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and credit risk frameworks
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and market conditions
