Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for commercial and industrial loans
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance with covenants and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations (FIRREA, BSA, CRA) and implement best practices
- Present credit recommendations to senior leadership with clear data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling (DCF, ratio analysis) and Excel
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and collateral valuation
- Professional certification (CFA, CRCM) preferred
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
