Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial loan applications and financial statements to determine credit risk exposure
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and recommendations for loan approval committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify potential risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Develop and maintain internal credit scoring models and risk assessment frameworks
- Present credit analysis findings to senior leadership with clear, data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and credit analysis software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, credit risk principles, and lending regulations
- Certification (CRCM, CMB, or CFA) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
