Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements to assess creditworthiness and risk exposure
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk mitigation strategies for commercial clients
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to optimize lending structures
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory impacts on credit portfolios
- Maintain compliance with federal banking regulations (FIRREA, BSA)
- Lead cross-departmental risk assessment initiatives
- Train junior analysts on credit evaluation frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and debt covenants
- Series 7/63/66 or equivalent securities licenses
- Credit Risk Management Professional (CRMP) certification
- Proven track record in high-stakes lending decisions
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
