Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos with actionable recommendations for loan approvals/declines
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early identification of potential delinquencies
- Leverage advanced Excel models and credit scoring systems to quantify risk exposure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Credit analysis certifications (CRCM, CCE) preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and banking regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
