Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and industry trends to assess borrower creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos with detailed risk assessments and recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and proactively identify potential risk exposures
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current with regulatory changes and implement compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
- Present findings to credit committees with clear, data-driven insights
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, ratio interpretation, and industry benchmarks
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for stakeholder interactions
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or MBA preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex credit transactions in diverse industries
