Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial loan applications and financial statements to assess creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit reports with risk assessments and recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Develop financial models for cash flow projections and scenario analysis
- Collaborate with relationship managers on complex credit structures
- Stay current with industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit markets
- Maintain accurate credit documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, RiskCalc)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAP, and credit risk frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Series 63/66 or equivalent securities license required
- Experience with CRE or corporate lending portfolios
