Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos with clear recommendations for loan approvals
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations (FCA, TILA) and compliance requirements
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-exposure accounts
- Present complex financial analyses to credit committee stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Credit Risk Management (CRM) or Commercial Underwriting certification
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and debt service coverage ratios
- Experience with loan origination systems (e.g., Black Knight, Ellie Mae)
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
