Responsibilities
- Analyze complex financial statements and credit applications to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit recommendations for commercial and industrial loan portfolios
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk identification
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit decisions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Present credit findings to senior management committees with clear rationale
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Strong proficiency in financial statement analysis and ratio interpretation
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Advanced Excel modeling skills and experience with credit software
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate collateral valuation and security structures
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
