Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committee presentations
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and identify early warning signals of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal credit policies
- Develop financial models to forecast cash flows and repayment capacity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit principles, and risk management frameworks
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and presentation abilities
- Professional certification (CRCM, CFA) a plus
