Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis and risk assessment for commercial loan applications
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk reports for executive review
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex financing solutions
- Stay updated on industry regulations (FIRREA, OCC guidelines) and implement changes
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics required
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE) strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and credit underwriting software
- Deep understanding of cash flow analysis and collateral valuation
- Exceptional written communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage complex loan portfolios under $50M
