Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis and risk assessment for commercial borrowers
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk ratings adhering to regulatory standards
- Manage existing loan portfolios and monitor compliance with covenants
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure complex credit facilities
- Develop predictive models for default probability and loss forecasting
- Lead due diligence processes for M&A transactions and large-scale financings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Expert proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (advanced functions)
- Credit Risk Management (CRM) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
- Deep understanding of GAAP, FASB standards, and credit risk frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and regulatory compliance
- Experience with credit underwriting software (e.g., Moody's RiskCal, Moody's Analytics)
