Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and collateral to evaluate creditworthiness
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessment reports
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with relationship managers on structuring complex credit facilities
- Stay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices
- Present findings to credit committees with clear recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with internal policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics
- 5+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and risk management principles
- Excellent analytical and decision-making abilities
- Credit certification (CRCM, CCE, or similar) preferred
- Experience with commercial real estate lending a plus
- Proven track record in managing complex credit portfolios
