Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profilesPrepare detailed credit recommendations for commercial and industrial loans up to $5M
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Document credit analysis in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Present findings to credit committees and executive leadership
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for high-exposure accounts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modeling
- Solid understanding of GAAP and lending regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with credit underwriting software (e.g., Moody's Analytics)
- Professional certification (CRCM/CCE) highly valued
