Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs and policies aligned with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities in our operations.
- Monitor changes in legislation and industry standards to ensure continuous compliance.
- Prepare and present detailed compliance reports to the executive board and regulatory bodies.
- Coordinate with legal counsel to resolve complex compliance issues and mitigate legal risks.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of ethical compliance across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., SOX, AML, KYC, OFAC).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
