Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure to support the 2026 Games operations.
- Lead the migration and modernization of legacy systems to microservices and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Implement AI-driven analytics solutions to optimize fan engagement and operational efficiency during events.
- Ensure enterprise-grade cybersecurity protocols are integrated into every layer of the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical standards and best practices for data management.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical leads, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Monitor system performance and implement real-time solutions to prevent downtime during peak traffic periods.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior architectural role.
- Deep expertise in Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and real-time data processing pipelines.
- Proven track record of designing systems that handle millions of concurrent users.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, AWS Solutions Architect) are highly preferred.
