Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements with variance analysis and reconciliation reports
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and bank account reconciliations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for new and existing clients
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and audit support
- Develop financial dashboards and KPI tracking for client reporting
- Train junior bookkeepers on standardized accounting protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 3+ years bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- CPA or certified bookkeeper designation preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with error reconciliation skills
- Strong analytical abilities for financial trend interpretation
