Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with CA employment regulations
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Collaborate with tax preparation teams for seamless year-end reporting
- Maintain organized digital financial records in compliance with GAAP
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA certification or equivalent accounting degree preferred
- Deep understanding of CA tax and labor regulations
- Proven track record of reducing processing errors by 30%+
- Experience with construction/real estate industry accounting a plus
