Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Process payroll accurately and maintain compliance with tax regulations
- Implement and improve accounting systems for maximum efficiency
- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial data integrity
- Collaborate with tax professionals to prepare year-end financial documents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
