Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ diverse clients using QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex balance sheet accounts monthly
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll, sales tax filings, and vendor payments with 100% accuracy
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Assist with month-end closing and quarterly financial reporting
- Train junior staff on bookkeeping best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks certification
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and Texas state tax regulations
- Proven ability to reconcile complex accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros) and proficiency in accounting software
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize urgent tasks
