Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll systems
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure transaction accuracy
- Assist with tax preparation and year-end closing processes
- Implement and improve accounting procedures using QuickBooks Online
- Collaborate with CPAs and financial analysts for reporting
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly valued
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
