Responsibilities

  • Manage General Ledger: Oversee the daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and loan accounts to ensure balances are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, for management review.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely collection of receivables to maintain healthy cash flow.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a corporate or accounting firm setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (or Xero), Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and other accounting software.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP principles, payroll tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
