Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and month-end closing processes
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable with precision and timeliness
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for stakeholders
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with tax professionals and auditors during reviews
- Lead accounts payable/receivable team of 3 junior staff
- Optimize accounting workflows using QuickBooks Online
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in mid-size companies
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Proven track record of month-end closing accuracy
- Experience managing accounts payable/receivable teams
- Knowledge of GAAP and Washington state tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
