Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow analysis
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Coordinate with external auditors during tax season
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online)
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or certification preferred (CPA, CMA, EA)
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and client management skills
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
