Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare month-end closing reports, financial statements, and variance analyses
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multiple entities
- Implement and improve accounting controls and internal processes
- Collaborate with CPA firms during annual audits and tax season
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and evolving financial regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll and tax filing requirements
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify financial discrepancies
- Relevant certifications (CPA, QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments with competing priorities
