Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Xero.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure all general ledger entries are accurate.
- Oversee and process accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
- Assist with payroll processing and support tax preparation filings.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve any financial discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Pro/Premier, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
