Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process complex payroll for 15+ employees using QuickBooks Online
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with 3+ years of experience
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee sales tax filings across multiple states
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly reviews and tax seasons
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online Pro
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential financial information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
