Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) with variance analysis
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes with audit-ready documentation
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online/Xero systems with customized workflows
- Coordinate with tax professionals for quarterly filings and annual compliance
- Develop financial reports and KPI dashboards for client decision-making
- Mentor junior bookkeepers on best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Xero and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing and sales tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify discrepancies and trends
- Excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration
