What You Will Do:
As our Senior Bookkeeper, you will oversee daily financial transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP standards. You will work closely with our accounting team to streamline processes and improve financial reporting accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and on time for multiple clients.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with tax preparation and audit requests as needed.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
