Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 clients using QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Process payroll, tax filings, and 1099s for multiple entities
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis for all accounts
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and collections processes
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season support
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting/Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks certification required
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
