Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15+ clients across various industries
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process multi-state payroll and tax filings
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation
- Train junior bookkeepers on financial best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven experience with payroll processing systems
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
