Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain and update general ledger with precise financial entries using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses for management review
- Coordinate with auditors during annual financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Oversee accounts payable workflows, vendor communications, and expense report approvals
- Implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and reduce errors
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance (FL state knowledge required)
