Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations and month-end closing processes
- Process complex payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Generate detailed financial statements and variance analysis for client reviews
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online systems for new client onboarding
- Lead quarterly tax preparation documentation and IRS correspondence
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
- Develop custom financial reporting dashboards for client stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Demonstrated success with month-end closes and financial statement preparation
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error reconciliation track record
