Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 active client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate annual tax preparation with external CPA firms
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Train junior bookkeepers on proprietary accounting workflows
- Develop customized financial dashboards for client reporting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Power Query) and accounting software
- Experience with multi-state sales tax filings and payroll processing
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with error rates below 0.5%
- Ability to manage deadlines in a client-facing environment
