Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and process payroll for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) using QuickBooks Online
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping workflows for efficiency
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven expertise in full-cycle accounting and month-end closing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- CPA or equivalent certification highly desirable
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
