Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations weekly
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Maintain organized digital financial records with strict compliance protocols
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial analysis and forecasting
- Train junior bookkeepers on company accounting systems
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional certification
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros)
- Proven track record of meeting month-end deadlines
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Experience with construction or real estate accounting preferred
