Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Manage payroll processing and tax filing for 100+ employees
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Sage, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong knowledge of sales tax compliance and payroll regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Experience with financial reporting for SaaS or healthcare industries
