Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.8% accuracy and timely submission
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and year-end audits
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation
- Experience with multi-client accounting systems (e.g., Xero, FreshBooks)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast-paced environment
