Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and monthly closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement and maintain accounting controls to prevent fraud and errors
- Collaborate with tax professionals for quarterly/year-end filings
- Optimize financial processes using QuickBooks Online and Excel automation
- Provide financial insights to support business growth initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Proven ability to manage month-end/year-end closing cycles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% accuracy in financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
