Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain comprehensive financial records including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses with executive-level insights
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts with precision
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly/annual reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel for data analysis
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-entity portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
