Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small to medium business clients
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with commentary
- Process payroll, sales tax filings, and vendor payments accurately
- Implement and maintain efficient accounting systems (QuickBooks Online preferred)
- Collaborate with CPA firms during tax season and audits
- Provide financial analysis and operational recommendations to clients
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven expertise in full-cycle accounting for diverse industries
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero tolerance for errors
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
